Cirrus Lite Travel Steamer is the preferred option for the traveler as it is lightweight and compact. Cirrus Lite has a rotating steam head that folds in or out to match your preferred steaming style; vertical or horizontal. Cirrus X does not have a rotating head. What is the difference between Cirrus Lite Travel Steamer and Cirrus 3 Iron Steamer?
Cirrus Lite is like the travel version of our premium handheld steamer Cirrus 3. Both steamers have a slightly heated front plate and ability to stand. Cirrus Lite has two steam modes and a descaling functionality, meaning after a while of usage (every 20th water tank) you need to descale the device with water. Cirrus Lite has a rotating steam head, a smaller water tank, and is an overall smaller steamer than Cirrus 3. Cirrus 3 has no rotatable function, should not be descaled and has an auto shut-off function.
Do I need to descale my steamer?
Cirrus Lite Travel Steamer requires regular descaling. You use water to descale according to the instructions in the user manual. Do not use corrosive acid to descale the steamer as those may be dangerous to inhale. We recommend descaling between every 20th water tank.
