Questions & Answers

  • Can I use Pilo Fabric Shaver on cashmere?+-

Can i use this on cashmere?

    Answer:
    Hi,
You can use Pilo on all fabrics, cashmere included. It's super important that you follow the instructions thoroughly when you use it on more delicate fabrics. Always lay the garment flat and never press the Pilo against the fabric, just swipe it carefully. Try it on an inconspicuous area first.

  • In which countries can I use Cirrus and Cirrus No.2?+-

We're can I use the handsteamers?

    Answer:
    Hi,
Our hand-steamer Cirrus No.2 Steamer comes in two different variants. Either made for EU-standards (220-240V), or made for US-standard (110V).
If you buy our hand-steamer with EU-plug you can use it in all countries who have 220 – 240 voltage as standard. You might still need an adaptor, so please double check what kind of socket is standard in your country.
Even if you have an adaptor, the EU-option will not work in, for example:

    • USA
    • Japan
    • Mexico
    • Canada
For the UK we always ship a steamer with an adaptor for UK-sockets. If you already have a EU-variant, you can still use it in UK but you will need an adaptor.
At the moment we carry Cirrus No.2 made for 110V in the colors
    • pink
    • grey
    • black
    • blue
If you're traveling with your hand-steamer, always double check the voltage before using the steamer. Using your steamer in countrys with the wrong voltage can cause permanent damage to your steamer.
Here's a complete list of all countries in the world and their respective plugs/outlets and voltages/frequencies used for domestic appliances.

  • How long before the Pilo is fully charged?+-

I recently bought a pilo fabric shaver. hoe long do it take to charge?

    Answer:
    Hi,
Five hours of charging is enough for the battery to reach maximum capacity (50 min).
However, if there's lints or pill left in the machine it will not start even if it's fully charged. Here's a tutorial of how to clean it if it's necessary:
